There were enough people signed up and able to sing at this event. The concert was to raise funds for the Baptist Church for new windows and the choir were very pleased to take part as we very much appreciate being able to hold our weekly Thursday sessions in the church.
The audience was quite small but appreciative of the variety of songs we performed and the enthusiasm of our performance. Claire led us so enthusiastically and conducted with such clarity and verve that we were able to show the audience what a splendid sound we can make. It was very enjoyable and we all felt we had done well. The list of songs we performed were:
