On Wednesday 21st September 2011 Blackdown Community Choir performed at the Peace Day celebration at Picnic in the Park  held in the Bandstand in Wellington Park (5.30 – 6 pm). Last Saturday 9th July the choir raised up its voice and joined with around 1000 other singers from the South West at the Harbourside, Bristol for the Big Sing and gained more than £3500 in sponsorship for the charity Wateraid.
