The choir performed a short free concert of latest songs at the Baptist Centre, Wellington on Thursday, 28th March 2013 .We  sang songs learnt during the term, including ‘California Dreamin’; ‘Maliswe’ from S Africa; ‘E hara i te mea’ (a Maori song); ‘Swing Down Chariot’ and ‘En tout la paix du Coeur’, in an informal concert. Blackdown Community Choir were invited to sing at the Apple Day organised by Blackdown Hills Transition Group taking place at Otter Head Lodge, Culmhead TA3 7EE 2- 6 pm. The choir were singing at 4 pm but unfortunately the weather meant that the event was cancelled. Roll on next time! Cheers!
