The Blackdown Community Choir opened the public concert held at Wellington School Friday 19th May on behalf of Dementia Awareness Alliance

We are delighted that Claire Stronach has agreed to be our new leader. She will leading us to new singing experiences with the start of the Autumn Term, 21st September.

The Summer Term starts on Thursday 27th April at 19:30 in the Baptist Hall, Wellington. On Saturday the 18th March we welcomed our choir friends from Brecon, Alive and Kicking, meeting up for lunch at the Beambridge Inn. Each year a charity is selected to receive any donations given at any of our public appearances. This year the chosen charity is The British Heart Foundation. They were delighted to be presented with a cheque for £150 raised at our last Christmas family concert.
