The choir enjoyed an end of term singing session and buffet supper at the Baptist Church Hall in Wellington on Thursday 7th December. Claire took the choir through the repertoire we have learned under her direction this, her first term with the choir, and also rehearsed the songs for the Carols under the Stars event.
Gwen and Dot presented Claire with a bouquet of flowers in appreciation of her work and enthusiasm which has made her first term so successful. Tony and Phil were also presented with gifts to thank Tony for his two-year stint keeping the website up to scratch and Phil for his amazing commitment to putting out the chairs and managing the opening and closing of the building every single session.
Needless to say, the buffet was magnificent and everyone tucked in.
