Choir sings for water to raise more than £160 for Wateraid

The Blackdown Community Choir “raised the rafters” at their autumn concert at the Baptist Centre in December where family and friends were entertained by a gorgeous mixture of global songs and festive carols. As well as enjoying the wonderful harmonies, the audience gave generously to hear the choir `Sing for Water` and raised over £160 for the charity Wateraid which works to provide safe, clean water to the world’s poorest people. This was the first concert under the leadership of the new choir director, Caroline Rigby.
