2020 has been a strange year for all Choirs, the Blackdown Community Choir being no exception. The choir Spring term is from 14th January to 25th March 2021 with half-term on 18th February. We will continue to meet virtually on Zoom, alternating with open air sessions, weather and Covid regulations permitting,  at Wellington Rugby Club. 

We were saddened to hear of the death on 14th November of one of our most stalwart and enthusiastic choir members, Mo Williams, at the age of 90. She sang with us until just days before she died. The choir was very keen to meet again for the joy of actually singing together. Following discussion with the Wellington Rugby Club and a very stringent risk assessment, a small group of hardy singers met to sing in the open braving the cool night air.
