The summer term began on April 25th and will run through until July 11th with a break on May 30th.

Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances this event has had to be cancelled for the time being and will be rearranged at a future date.  

The Somerfest will take place on Saturday 15th June. This is a great event attracting hundreds of people and involving a whole range of arts, music and performance groups from across the South West. The choir are performing in the Museum of Somerset courtyard at 12noon. Details for choir members are in the Members’ Area.

The choir has been invited to sing at the Wellington Street Fair on Sunday 2nd June between 10am and 12noon. We hope as many of the choir members as possible will want to take part, so please put the date in your diaries.

Each year the Blackdown Community Choir have a concert for family and friends and raise money for a charity of their choice. This year the chosen charity was the Beacon Centre at Musgrove Hospital, as several choir members have recently had need of the centre’s support and care.
