2020 has been a strange year for all Choirs, the Blackdown Community Choir being no exception. Claire was determined to keep the choir going in whatever way possible, so we have had a mix of Zoom sessions and outdoor meetings at Wellington Rugby Club. The last meeting before the Christmas break saw 30 choir members warmly wrapped up, braving the drizzle to sing Christmas Carols together. It was wet, but not as bad as last year’s rain at the Monument! Rhudian and Dot concluded the meeting by presenting Claire with a bouquet of flowe
rs in appreciation of all her efforts.
