Collecting money for charity

A presentation was made  by choir members, to Sally from the Wellington branch of the St Margaret’s Hospice. This was money collected as part of the Christmas concert in December when we sang songs and carols from all around the world. Wonderful harmonies and a relaxed performance made it a night to remember! Wellington Baptist Church asked us to perform at a Concert on the 12th December 2014 for the benefit of their own Church Charities and, at our request, St. Margaret’s Hospice. As well as our Choir the acts were: The Steel Band from Castle School, Darren Hodge, guitarist, and The Skin tight Samba Band. The proceeds were shared equally between the Church Charities and ourselves, so we had pleasure in presenting the Church’s cheque for £415.69 to the St Margaret’s Hospice.
