The choir performed a short free concert of latest songs at the Baptist Centre, Wellington on Thursday, 28th March 2013 .We sang songs learnt during the term, including ‘California Dreamin’; ‘Maliswe’ from S Africa; ‘E hara i te mea’ (a Maori song); ‘Swing Down Chariot’ and ‘En tout la paix du Coeur’, in an informal concert.
Donations were requested for ‘Wateraid’ a charity which seeks to develop access to clean water for developing nations and £113.46 was raised.
The concert was well-attended and enjoyed! Many members and their friends reconvened at the local wine bar for some socialising afterwards.
