    Informal End of Term

    Baptist Church, Main Hall

Unusually there was not a friends and family concert to mark the end of term and showcase all the songs we have learnt together. Instead, this term the last session was held next door in the main hall where after our usual practice session the choir enjoyed a splendid buffet to which all members contributed. Claire was presented with a bouquet of flowers in appreciation of the hard work and enthusiasm she has given to make her first term so successful.

    Carols Under the Stars

    Wellington Monument

In support of the Blackdown Hills AONB we joined the magical evening of candles, bonfire, mince pies and Christmas Carols Under the Stars at Wellington Monument. The weather was cold, but right for the time of year with even a smattering of snow as choir members made their way back to their cars.

It was Claire's first outside event with the choir and what a splendid job she made of it, including a special mention for her magnificent light-up gloves!
