Have you always wanted to sing but not sure where to start?
Do you love singing but can’t read music or are you a singer looking to sing an exciting range of songs in a relaxed group?
Would you like something to look forward to that is fun, good for your health and takes away the stresses of the week?
Do you live in or near Wellington or Taunton, Somerset, or the surrounding areas of the Blackdown Hills, Milverton, East or Mid Devon?
Then take a deep breath and come and sing with Blackdown Community Choir where you will experience the wonderful sound of unaccompanied harmony singing!
The choir is an open access choir to all over 16 – beginners and experienced singers alike – a friendly group who enjoy listening to and learning songs from around the world – folk, gospel, pop, African, Georgian – as well as traditional songs from these shores. The choir sings for fun and some performance to family and friends and other occasions – raising money for good causes.
There are no auditions!
Read more about the choir and listen to some of the songs we have sung. Let us know by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to come to one of our taster sessions which we have at the beginning of each term. There is more information about this on the ‘Join’ page.
All you need to bring is your voice and enthusiasm….
